Court Square Capital Partners Closes Fifth Flagship Fund at $3.8 Billion
Fund V surpassed its $3.0 billion target to become the largest fundraise in Court Square's 47-year history, backed by more than 40 new investors across 20-plus countries.
NEW YORK, April 9, 2026. Court Square Capital Partners today announced the final closing of Court Square Capital Partners Fund V with approximately $3.8 billion in total capital commitments, surpassing its $3.0 billion target and representing the largest fundraise in the firm's history.
Fund V attracted more than 40 new investors from over 20 countries, including pension funds, asset managers, insurance companies, and family offices. Court Square's general partner remains the largest investor in the fund, maintaining significant co-investment alongside limited partners.
The fund will focus on control buyouts in the business services, healthcare, industrials, and technology sectors, and has already deployed capital to six portfolio companies. Since its founding in 1979, Court Square has invested $13.4 billion across more than 245 companies.
