Angeles Equity Partners Announces Michael Knapp as Head of Business Development

LOS ANGELES, August 11, 2026. Angeles Equity Partners, LLC announced that Michael Knapp has joined as Managing Director and Head of Business Development. Knapp will lead investment origination efforts, expanding the firm's sourcing capabilities for its sector-focused investment strategy.

Knapp will work with Angeles' integrated team of investors and operators to cultivate relationships with business owners and intermediaries to originate platform investments and add-on acquisitions. He brings a decade of private equity experience sourcing and executing middle-market control and add-on investments.

Before Angeles, Knapp was a Managing Director at Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, focusing on platform and add-on investments in business services and industrials. He previously worked in investment banking at Macquarie Capital's Financial Institutions Group. Knapp holds an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. with honors from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business.
